E-Catalogue client application is invoked it will first check
whether it can establish the link with E-Catalogue server,
which is hosted at OEM’s end.
Online
E-Catalogue:
If the E-Catalogue client is able to communicate with the
E-Catalogue server it will ensure that the client data is
synchronized with the server data. This state of transaction
will be identified as online transaction.
Offline
E-Catalogue:
If the E-catalogue fails to establish communication with E-Catalogue
server this state will be called as standalone state or offline
state. In this state E-Catalogue client will fetch data from
the local database running at dealer’s end.
